Effective communication with our employees is always crucial to our success. MahlerClean promotes effective communication by utilizing:

  • A live answering service during non-business hours should an emergency occur and an employee is not able to make it to work
  • A logbook for MahlerClean representatives to use to communicate with your building contact
  • An automated timekeeping system allows our employees to call in and out from work from a designated phone at each location. Our management team is able to leave detailed voicemail messages, which employees can check daily.
  • Monthly employee newsletters listing birthdays, anniversary dates, account information updates and new opportunities

MahlerClean promotes an open communication policy with each of our employees. Our culture encourages and values suggestions and input from all of our team members.


Prior to job placement, all MahlerClean employees attend a classroom training session. Topics covered include:

  • Company policies and expectations
  • Worksite safety (blood borne pathogens, hazard communication, confidentiality, etc.)
  • Product usage and basic equipment maintenance
  • Cleaning procedures
  • All legally required paperwork is completed

At the conclusion of their training session, MahlerClean employees must pass a written test. If a passing score is not achieved, an employee will attend another orientation class. All MahlerClean employees also receive on-the-job training to help reinforce and implement the information they learned during the orientation session.

  • Direct deposit: There are two pay periods and two paychecks each month. Employees receive paychecks either via direct deposit or standard U.S. Mail.
  • Mahler Dollar program: All employees are eligible to receive Mahler Dollars, which are awarded by the management team to employees who provide exemplary service. MahlerClean encourages individual career growth by promoting from within and by providing ongoing training and career path development. In fact, our management team consists of several individuals who were previously a member of our field services team.
